Over a hundred students and volunteers participated in the Terry Fox Run at Seneca College. The turnout was the best in recent years. So much so that by the end of the marathon, volunteers ran out of certificates to hand out.

Among those volunteers was Vadani Janathan. When she first came to Canada, she was shy and didn’t know much about the country. Then Janathan participated in her school Terry Fox Run in first grade, and it led her to become involved in the community. Since then, Janathan has volunteered with the Terry Fox Run and gives back for all it has done for her. Haotian Xu from Centennial College interviewed Janathan on the inspiration the run gives her.
