Terry Fox Run Still Attracting Newcomers

by Marcus Ramsamooj, Centennial Journalism

Kevin Tran is a university student who just moved to Toronto.  Tran was not running for anyone in particular but decided it would be something he would like to try. He became interested after seeing posts for the Terry Fox Run across his school. With the popularity and success of other awareness causes such as the ALS ice bucket challenge, some feel that a change is needed in how the Terry Fox Run is handled. But Tran tells Centennial Journalism’s Marcus Ramsamooj that the Terry Fox run is more than enough to bring in newcomers to help fight the cause. Listen here.
