First Time Runner Running For Her Aunt

By Fatima Buela, Centennial Journalism

Eve Panaguiton is a first-time runner at Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope and she vows it won’t be her last. This student at York University decided to join in this year because of her aunt. Woodbine Beach was the place she chose to run, with her Dad cheering her on to support her on this run. She’s doing it to support the cause founded by Terry Fox. She already plans on participating next year. She tells Centennial Journalism’s Fatima Buela the story behind why and how she pledged. Listen here.
