By Sarah Fournier, Centennial Journalism
Cancer survivor Anne Valentine spends her time volunteering for various events in the name of the nurses and doctors who saved her life two years ago. From kidney runs and sleeping in tents, this is her second time volunteering at the Terry Fox Run. Valentine is very enthusiastic about the turn out Sunday in High Park and credits Fox’s name with the awareness that cancer research receives.
She tells Sarah Fournier of Centennial Journalism that every cause is close and personal. Listen to the full interview here.
