Marilyn McClain was at the 2013 Terry Fox Run at Cedarbrook Park with 20 of Catherine Lowe’s family members. They are a merry clan who laugh, make jokes and greet each other enthusiastically. They are running for Catherine, who died after her melanoma spread into other organs and eventually her brain.
McClain’s daughter was Catherine’s best friend. It’s her first time running this year, but she vows to participate until she can’t walk anymore. She tells Jasun Singh of Centennial Journalism what Terry Fox means to her and to Canada. Listen here.
