Joel LeMoine has been participating in the Terry Fox Run for 33 years. LeMoine, 79, was the organizer for the run at Colonel Danforth Park. He now considers himself too old to run, but never too old to raise awareness for cancer in honour of a great Canadian hero.
He recently discovered a new quote by Terry Fox that emphasizes the importance of helping others. He tells Centennial Journalism’s Virginia Mashingaidze that, like Terry Fox, the young should get involved because it’s a selfless act we should all live by. Listen here.
