Family and friends join together to honour Terry Fox in Scarborough

By Bria John, Centennial Journalism

Joe LeMoine founded the West Hill Terry Fox in 1981 and has been organizing it ever since. What started as an opportunity for his friends and family to run together in Fox’s honour has now grown to hundreds running through Colonel Danforth Park in Scarborough. LeMoine’s wife witnessed Fox’s original run through Scarborough in 1980. LeMoine tells Centennial Journalism’s Bria John how this inspired him to start this family tradition and the importance of the Fox Foundation’s legacy. Listen here.
