York university professor honours cancer victims by forming team for 33rd Terry Fox Run.

By Alex Cattani, Centennial Journalism

Dennis Pilon is the undergraduate program director for political science at York University in Toronto. With the help of other faculty, he has assembled a team to take part in the 2013 annual Terry Fox Run. Pilon says he has known many people over the years affected by various forms of cancer. Though this is his first time running the race, he hopes to encourage York students to participate in the event each year. He tells Centennial Journalism’s Alex Cattani why the legend of Terry Fox should be honoured. Listen here.
