By Kimberly Naipaul, Centennial Journalism

Andre Hondyk is a manager for logistics at the Scarborough hospital. He has been participating in the annual Terry Fox Run at Cedarbrook Park for the last five or six years. He is honoring his mother, who has been a survivor of colorectal cancer for the last five years. Hondyk, 47, is also running for his brother-in-law who recently died of cancer. Hondyk says he is inspired to support individuals to improve their health. He tells Centennial Journalism’s Kimberly Naipaul how he hopes to make a difference in the Terry Fox run cancer research foundation. Listen here.
