Andre Hondyk is a manager for logistics at the Scarborough hospital . He has been participating in the annual Terry Fox run event at Cedarbrook park for the last five or six years. He is honouring his mother, who has been a survivor of colorectal cancer for the last five years. Hondyk, 47, is also running for his brother-in-law who recently died of cancer. Hondyk tells Centennial Journalism’s Kimberly Naipaul how he hopes to make a difference in the Terry Fox run cancer research foundation. Listen here.
